"Macho Man" Randy Savage def. Yokozuna (c) with the flying elbow after Yokozuna was distracted by Paul Bearer (for the World Heavyweight Championship)

AFTERMATH:
  • Yokozuna vowed revenge on the Undertaker for Bearer causing his title loss.
  • Owen Hart and Bret Hart had a major fall out after their match.  However, they reconciled and formed a tag-team.
  • Ludvig Borga suffered a serious ankle injury and had to forfeit the Intercontinental title.  A tournament was to be held with the finals at the Royal Rumble.
  • The Steiner Brothers lost the WWF Tag team championship to the Quebecers
