  2. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake def. "Ravishing" Rick Rude (c) with the sleeper hold (for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship)
  3. The Colossal Connection def. Demolition (c) when Andre pinned Ax with the sit down splash (for the World Tag Team Championship)
  4. Hulk Hogan (c) def. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning with the atomic leg drop (for the World Heavyweight Championship)
  5. The Ultimate Warrior wins the Royal Rumble.  Other participants included:  Greg Valentine, Ronnie Garvin, Bad News Brown, Rick Martel, The Genius, Randy Savage, Dino Bravo, Earthquake, Honky Tonk Man, Ted DiBiase, Big Bossman, Hakeem, Rockers, Rougeau Brothers, Powers of Pain, Jimmy Snuka, Jake Roberts, Hercules, Roddy Piper, Tito Santana, Bushwhackers, Jim Duggan, Hart Foundation, Dusty Rhodes.
AFTERMATH:
  • Ted DiBiase attempts to buy the services of the Big Bossman but the Bossman refuses.  Bossman becomes a face.
  • When the Ultimate Warrior returned to the dressing room after his Royal Rumble victory, he came fact to face with Hogan.  They had a momentary stare-down then they both walked away from each other.
