  1. The Steiner Brothers def. The Beverly Brothers when Scott Steiner hit the Frankensteiner on Blake Beverly
  2. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning def. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair with the perfect plex in a "Loser Leaves Town" match.
  3. Bobby Heenan unveiled "The Narcissist" Lex Luger
  4. Yokozuna def. Bret "Hitman" Hart (c).  Hart had Yokozuna in the Sharp Shooter but Lex Luger entered the ring and hit Hart with his forearm when the referee was distracted by Mr. Fuji.  Luger's forearm had metal plates fused into the bone.  Afterward, Yokozuna was about to deliver a Banzai splash on Bret Hart but Owen Hart came to the ring with a chair and cleared Yokozuna and Luger from the ring.
  5. Hulk Hogan won the Royal Rumble match.  Hogan was the surprise #30 entrant.  Before the card, the #30 entrant was billed as the surprise entrant.  Other Rumble participants included:  Bob Backlund, Doink, Bam Bam Bigelow, The Big Bossman, Razor Ramon, Tito Santana, Randy Savage, Natural Disasters, Money Inc, Nasty Boys, Papa Shango, Koko B. Ware, Virgil, Owen Hart, Jerry Lawler, Skinner, Rick Martel, Headshrinkers, Berzerker, Undertaker, Tatanka, Repo Man, Shawn Michaels, Marty Jannetty, Giant Gonzalez
AFTERMATH:
  • Kamala was billed to be in the Rumble match but was attacked by Giant Gonzalez  Gonzalez took the place of Kamala and immediately attacked the Undertaker during the Rumble.
  • Lex Luger and Bret Hart started a bitter feud.
